Department of Theoretical Physics

The Department of Theoretical Physics performs research at the highest international levels in selected areas of mathematical and theoretical physics. The primary research themes in the department are Mathematical physics and Optical sciences. It consists of members and incorporates research at the foremost frontier of a large variety of disciplines, namely elementary particle physics, experimental high-energy physics, nuclear physics, neuroscience, astrophysics and cosmology.
